Fair Lakes Spring Fest 2018 In Fairfax

The Fair Lakes League puts on a festival each Spring to bring together the members of the Fairfax / Fair Lakes community and connect them with local businesses, organizations and neighbors through a day filled with family fun.

The event featured a variety of different activities including face painting, art cycling, photo booth, multiple moon bounces, boxing and much more. Almost everything was free!

Live performances by the Fair Lakes Coummunity Church Worship band as well as the Foley Academy of Irish Dancing.

There were different carnival foods like Kettle Corn, Ice Cream, Funnel Cake and barbecue from Bacon's BBQ Truck. Tables were set up right by the main stage.

Fairfax Police were on the scene to help parents get ID cards for their children, the fire department had multiple trucks and was giving tours, and kids were enjoying seeing the big tow and garbage trucks.

Kids loved the different characters that were roaming around. I saw Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Captain America and the Trolls from the Trolls movie.

Overall, the event was a lot of fun for all the Fairfax families that attended. It was a great chance to meet some of the people, businesses and organizations that are in the community. This free event is perfect for families with small children who live within a few miles of Fair Lakes.
