The NEW Field At Commonwealth Shopping Center

Coming Summer 2018

A new shopping center featuring a Wegmans, Cava, Mellow Mushroom and more, will be opening this summer (Wegman's June 3rd) in the Chantilly/Westfields area. Located on Westfields Boulevard in Chantilly (between Route 28 and Walney Road) the Field at Commonwealth features both restaurants and services (nail salon, eye doctor).

As of early May, the buildings are all constructed yet they still have a lot of interior and exterior work to do. There are still 7 vacancies, meaning other restaurants or services will eventually be added, but for now the list of restaurants is:

Chipotle
CAVA
Mellow Mushroom
Wegmans (The Burger Bar Restaurant)
Gusto Farm To Street
The Habit Burger Grill

The interesting place on that list is the Burger Bar Restaurant which is not in any of Virginia Wegmans at this time. The restaurant features burgers, salads and shakes and has a nice outdoor patio. It will be interesting to see how it compares to Whole Foods Sports Spot, which has one of the best patios in the area. Will there be beer?

While I am not sure when all the businesses will open, the Wegman's will probably be the first, opening on Sunday, June 3rd at 7am with a special grand opening.
